How I learnt Spanish for Two Months.
Totally Random...
It's been a while I wrote basically on lifestyle. I just felt like doing this. No one would query me, so why shouldn't I? ππ
I do feel this is the part of Writing that truly understands me and I deeply understand. When I just get to express myself as I feel. No rules. Just the words and feelings. And yeah, experience, ideas and knowledge. I love this! π✨
I took time to learn more in English Language, particularly the grammar and word development aspects. It was really cool last year. π
Sorry, I meant it was boringgg! Just the SSCE we wrote after secondary school took a lot of toils and sweats. You would put so much energy and read so much just to get the popularly known "Ori Yomi" grade. ππ
You would think that is the end of all the stress when you have left secondary school and passed your exams until some funny things happen. π©π€²
Everyone was setting fine fine and sweet goals for this year. I added something interesting to my own too. After I got some motivation from the fine and colourful spanish movies I watched in 2022. ππ
Remember Money Heist? Omooo! If you haven't seen that movie just try to check the trailer out. Maybe that would ginger you. I learnt some random words there and I even enjoyed the part they sang "Bella Ciao". (I don't even know if I spelt that correctly. π€) I was always singing along with my full concentration like I understood what they meant. Meanwhile, I didn't understand it at all! ππ©π€²
I won't cut any long story short here. ππ
Thank you for reading, I know you really love gists. π
So, as I was saying... I can't remember where I stopped my story. You see? ππ
Let's fast forward...
***************
I decided to learn a new language this year and I went for no other language but my beloved "Spanish"!
Somebody shout "Yayyy"! ππ₯π
I thought I would learn like two words and two sentences in a day. I started well actually. And then, boom! I couldn't remember the words I learnt from the beginning. ππ©π€² Gobeee!
Whalah no dey pass like this! ππ© I was repeating the same thing for like three days because I kept forgetting the pronunciation or I would just mistake the words for each other. So I have just covered quarter of what I should have done in two months. ππ I tired, tryn't I?
I just decided to take things slowly (why is this sounding somehow π€π) so I would understand it better. Na lie! That is the lazy part of me speaking! Something needs to be done.
Maybe I should try another approach, like pictorial? π€π Or what do you think? How exactly do I learn a new language I know completely nothing about and there's no physical teacher or tutor? π©π You see, it's not my fault that I haven't made enough progress.
But let's be frank, it's my fault. ππ€ I don't know how tho. π€
So what next?
I don't know too.
I just thought to ask.
How do you learn a foreign language?
Icebreaker: Someone was actually thinking to read about how I shattered the whole language in two months and how I could even speak it fluently. Sorry ehn. πππ
Thank youuu!
Drop your comments, I really need to do this!
Thank you so so much for reading!
