Agnes Binagwho; The masterminded Pediatrician.

      Born into a Rwandan family, Agnes was only three years old when her family moved to Belgium so her father could complete his medical degree.
Dr. Binagwho is a lady who would have so much fame with little children. Not only because she's a pediatrician but because she has taken time to help these young ones in amazing ways. Her father was a medical doctor as well and she began on her own career path when she completed her Medical Degree (MD) in general Medicine at Université libre de Bruxelles from 1976-1984. She had her Masters degree in Pediatrics (MA) at Université de Bretagne Occidentale from 1989-1993. After she was awarded an honorary Degree in Science at Dartmouth College in the United States (2010), she was also awarded Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) from The college of Medicine and Health sciences at the University of Rwanda, making her the first recepient of such award. 
She had many other honorary awards and certificates from different Institutes with different titles majorly on HIV/AIDS and Child care. In 2016, she became a professor of Global Health Delivery Practice and in 2017 she became a professor in Pediatrics at the University of Global Health Equity. 
     Presently residing in Kigali, she has served in different posts both home and abroad. She's a co-founder and former vice chancellor of The University of Global Health Equity (2017-2022). She was the permanent secretary for the Ministry of Health for Rwanda (2008-2011) and She served as the Minister of Health (2011-2016). 
     She has made excellent researces on the treatment improvement, access to prevention and care of HIV/AIDS and other diseases. She has received numerous awards based on her service to children and her research on HIV. She was named among 100 most influential woman in Africa for 2020 and 2021. Her great contribution to human race can't be overemphasized. 
     She is a lady who has portrayed how little things form small places can go a long way. Her contribution to her country's healthcare would forever be appreciated.
