Ibukunoluwa Awosika; A Fine 360° Woman.
Born into a family of 7 children in Ibadan, Oyo State, Ibukunoluwa Awosika is the third child of her parents. She had her elementary education and secondary education at Lagos. She had her Bsc in Chemistry from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. She proceeded to take Business programs at The Lagos Business School and IESE Business School -University of Navarra with post graduate and MBA certificates. After working briefly after the completion of her NYSC program, she established a furniture manufacturing company called 'Quebees Limited' in 1989. From the gradual development into 'The Chair Center Limited' it evolved in 2004 into SOKOA Chair Center Limited based on the venture merge with SOKOA S.A and Guaranty Trust Bank.
She is a fellow of various Nigerian fellowships and a member of Binance Global Advisory Board, Women in Management, Business and Public Service, member of The Nigerian Economic Summit Group, African Leadership Initiative, Aspen global Leadership Network and many more. Following the resignation of Prince Ajibola Afonja, she became the first woman to be appointment Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria on september 7, 2015. She presently hosts a TV program called 'Business His way'. She starred in the 2020 movie, 'CITATION' alongside Temi Otedola. She's an author and she has been nominated for various awards and she has received many of them. She was awarded International Women Society Award (Golden Heart Award, 2007), Africa Forbes Women Award, 2020 etc.
Ibukunoluwa Awosika is also an ordained pastor who serves at The Fountain of Life Church and she is the founder of the Christian Missionary Fund, Ibukun. She is a emulateable example of a woman who has balanced career, faith, family and social life. With Vast knowledge on business and Faith, she speaks to inspire others.
